What you'll be doing
As an Investing Writer at Kiplinger, you'll create practical, engaging, and accessible investing content that empowers readers to make informed financial decisions. Your work will be geared toward individuals and families, breaking down complex concepts into jargon-free, easy-to-understand articles. You'll help generate relevant story ideas on diverse investing topics, staying ahead of market trends and new financial news.
You'll collaborate closely with editors and senior staff to contribute to editorial projects for the magazine, related publications, and Kiplinger's website, ensuring high-quality content across platforms. From developing insightful articles to participating in strategic content initiatives, you'll be an essential voice in delivering trusted financial guidance to Kiplinger’s audience.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- 5+ years of experience in writing advice-oriented articles for consumers about stocks, mutual funds, ETFs and bonds
- In-depth knowledge of investing, financial markets and other personal finance topics
- A solid bench of sources among analysts, strategists, fund managers and others within the Wall Street community
- Confidence with analyzing corporate finances, fund strategies and investment returns as well as with recommending investments based on your own analysis and reporting
