Job description

As an IT Dispatcher at Staff4Me, you will be a vital part of our operations team, responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating IT support activities. Your role will include routing incoming service requests to appropriate technicians, ensuring timely service delivery, and maintaining clear communication between clients and IT teams. You will work closely with IT staff to prioritize and address technical issues, all while striving to enhance the client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and triage incoming IT service requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Assign service requests to appropriate IT technicians based on their availability and expertise.
  • Monitor the status of various service requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Document and track service requests in the ticketing system accurately.
  • Assist in the scheduling of on-site visits for IT technicians when needed.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to identify trends in service requests and suggest process improvements.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all client interactions are professional and helpful.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a dispatch or IT support role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems and other IT resources.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
