LRDG offers remote assessment services to federal public servants and other clients, particularly in the field of oral communication. Training and materials will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Administer oral assessments in English, in accordance with LRDG procedures
  • Complete online reports in a timely manner
  • Assess English as a second language oral skills

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French
  • Comfortable using information and communication technologies, in particular Microsoft Outlook and Teams, as 100% of evaluations are virtual
  • Possession of a functional computer equipped with a webcam/video functionality.
  • Professionalism, dynamism, objectivity, ability to adapt to different types and levels of learners
  • Experience in teaching or assessing English as a Second Language is an asset
  • Knowledge of Canadian Federal Public Service Commission exams and levels A, B and C (preferred)
  • Additional Information

    Location: Telecommuting across Canada
    Status: Self-employed
    Clientele: Federal public servants and other clients
    Length of work week: The number of hours worked per week depends on your availability
    Availability: Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
    Start date: As soon as possible
    Hourly rate: $25.50 to $29.50, depending on type of assessment + possibility of bonus
