This is a highly senior role within the firm, liaising closely with its three Directors, and PhD-qualified Principal consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all OSC’s core services, to ensure opportunities are recorded accurately, pursued actively, and maximised to support fee conversion;
  • Support a continuous improvement cycle across the team resulting in improved bidding and the overall win rate of the team exceeding 50%;
  • Obtain information on the reason for the win/loss for all bids managed and feedback to the sector bid manager;
  • Embrace the team training programme to address individual needs;
  • Support campaign management working alongside the marketing team to support strategic/must win bids; and,
  • Support new initiatives to drive bidding effectiveness.

Demonstration of behaviours:

  • Accountable and dependable;
  • Reliable and trustworthy;
  • Enthusiastic and goal-oriented;
  • Communicative and friendly;
  • Positive (influencing behaviours of others);
  • Proactive and impactful;
  • Motivated and driven;
  • Detail orientated/exemplary attention to detail;
  • Committed/completer finisher;
  • Responsive and adaptable;
  • Confident and assertive; and,
  • Empowered.

Qualifications:

  • Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) foundation-accredited, to demonstrate adherence to industry best practices in bidding (desired);
  • Any of the three APMP levels of accreditation, foundation, practitioner, and professional (desired);
