Summary of Job Duties:
We are seeking faculty applicants eligible for appointment at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor who have at least 50% FTE on extramurally funded research. This is a 12-month, full-time, tenure-track optional faculty position with an academic appointment in the Nursing Science/Practice Department.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in nursing or a related field.
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- An active extramurally funded research program with at least 50% FTE coverage, a robust publications record, and presentations at scientific conferences are required.
- An innovative thought leader with teaching experience, preferably at the graduate level.
- Demonstrate a scholarly focus in obesity, nutrition/physical activity, geriatrics/gerontology, cancer survivorship, quality of life, social determinants of health, sexual health, mental health, cardiovascular health, or health promotion/disease prevention across the life cycle.
