We are seeking for a Franchise Sales Trainer that will be responsible for developing and improving the sales capabilities of Miracle Method franchisees and their salespeople. This position involves creating and delivering tailored training programs, providing ongoing coaching, and helping franchisees meet or exceed their sales targets. The Franchise Sales Trainer will focus on aligning sales strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring consistent performance improvement across the franchise network.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Training Development:
- Designing Programs: Develop and customize sales training programs based on franchisee needs and market conditions.
- Creating Resources: Produce engaging training materials, including scripting, how to guides, presentations, and e-learning content to facilitate effective learning.
- Sales Software: Continue to work with third-party sales software company to further develop the technology utilizing feedback from franchise locations using the software.
2. Coaching and Support:
- Personalized Coaching: Provide individualized coaching to franchisees and their salespeople, focusing on enhancing their sales techniques and strategies.
- Group Training: Organize and lead virtual and in person group training sessions to foster collaborative learning and skill development.
- Location Field Visits: Travel to various franchise locations to assess performance and provide additional training as needed. This includes training for new franchise locations as they are onboarding and launching their business.
- Continuous Support: Maintain ongoing communication with franchisees to provide support and address any sales-related issues.
3. Performance Analysis:
- Data Monitoring: Continuously monitor franchisee sales performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement collectively and by individual franchise locations.
- Feedback and Reporting: Produce regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. This includes publishing the monthly Sales Recognition Report, quarterly and annual performance awards.
4. Sales Strategy Implementation:
- Strategy Development: As market conditions continue to shift, work with franchisees in developing effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather and analyze feedback from trainees and managers to refine sales strategies and training methods, ensuring continuous improvement.
5. Collaboration:
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to align sales training with broader business objectives.
- Vendor Relations: Work with financing, credit card, spray foam, product, and other sales related vendors to provide services and training to franchise locations.
- Franchisee Communication: Foster strong communication channels with franchisees to understand their challenges, needs, and goals. May include leading a sales focused Franchise Advisory Board.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven Experience: A track record as a successful salesperson as well as an impactful Sales Trainer, preferably within the home services or related industry. Experience managing and training salespeople.
- Sales Expertise: Knowledge of in-home sales processes in the following aspects of the sales process: inquiry to appointment engagement, in-home sales, one call close, overcoming objectives, rehash/reviving unsold leads, prospecting, pricing, financing and credit card processing, and overall upselling.
- Coaching: Ability to deliver impactful in-person and online coaching and learning environments. Some travel, up to 25% of time, should be expected.
- Microsoft: Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and comfortable with learning new technologies.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and time management capabilities.
- Communication and Presentation: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present information effectively.
