Your role at Clorox:

This role leads the Supply Chain Finance Organization for the enterprise, provides financial thought leadership to deliver Supply Chain financial goals, and has responsibility for supply chain (SC) consolidations, strategic projects support, and Internal controls.

In addition, he/she is a member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team (led by SVP Supply Chain Officer), Corporate Financial Planning LT, and supports a wide range of senior leaders and leadership teams including the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Finance Group VPs, and Investor Relations, among others.

To be successful he/she must be an agent of change with demonstrated strong skills in the following areas: Leadership and influencing, people management, data analytics and effective communication.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a highly engaged and top performing team.
  • Develop plans to continuously improve productivity, enabled by ever improving operating processes and technology transformation efforts.
  • Create and support a culture of inclusion and diversity by modeling desired behaviors.
  • Lead Supply Chain (SC) Finance transformation to become a Global organization.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to the development of all SC financial planning processes for the enterprise including the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plan, developing strong partnerships with the Supply Chain Center function as well as the SBU Finance leaders.
  • Lead development and recommendation of gap closure choices to the SVP Supply chain and VP Financial Planning to deliver financial commitments.
  • Effectively and proactively formulate and communicate key performance drivers, opportunities and risks.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline effort and improve quality of output.
  • Provide insights and financial thought leadership to deliver objectives.
  • Lead Supply chain Finance tech transformation (SAP and Anaplan implementation)
  • Provide financial expertise and thought leadership to projects that require CFO and Board of Directors approval.
  • Serve as the Finance lead for inventory controls, ensuing quarterly testing is completed, all exceptions are properly recorded, and remediation plans are timely implemented.
  • Supply Chain Finance point of contact for Ernst & Young (E&Y) and Financial Reporting and Controls Teams (FRC).
  • Ensure owned Internal Control and Accounting policies are up to date
  • Provide Financial oversight to the Capital Reporting Team
  • Provide Financial oversight for Procurement contract development.

What we look for:

  • 15+ years of experience in Finance preferably with extensive Supply Chain Finance experience
  • CPG industry experience is preferred
  • Strong track record developing high performance teams.
  • Experience managing large teams
  • Experience as finance lead for an SBU, Country and Region/Division.
  • Experience in leadership teams and thought leadership roles in transformational projects. Being a Change agent.
  • Understand economic, industry and company events and how they affect area of responsibility.
  • Ability to lead, influence and earn respect of business partners outside the Finance function
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Broad finance skillset acquired through experience in diverse Finance roles (i.e. Forecasting, Reporting, KPIs, Project Management, Project analysis, Financial Planning, Valuations, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, creatively and efficiently with minimal direction in an unstructured environment
  • Planning and organization skills:  ability to establish work plans, “multi-task”, and prioritize simultaneous projects
  • Ability to thrive in unstructured environments and adapt quickly to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Excellent accounting and internal control skills
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels.
  • Flexibility for up to 10% Travel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree is preferred

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $171,700 - $352,600

–Zone B: $157,400 - $324,200

–Zone C: $143,100 - $294,700

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
