Position Summary
The Area Manager for Experiential Learning Placements will lead a team of collaborators who support practicum placements by determining clearances based on site-specific requirements and business needs. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, developing, and organizing workflows, reports, and activities that support and drive the outcomes of the function. The incumbent will process projection based needs to create area-based optimization.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
- Completes ongoing and consistent audits of all functional activities to identify trends, make corrections, develop training, and deliver feedback to support overall outcomes of future audits.
- Attends all educational webinars hosted by partnership sites and new facility meetings to gather and implement updates and changes as needed.
- Adds to partnership’s ledger to determine existing site usage.
- Provides feedback on territory needs based on learner projection needs.
- Cascades changes and updates through all appropriate channels of communication.
- Audits learner rotations based on organizational requirements and learners’ need to ensure that all learners are able to successfully complete their direct focus care.
- Audits collaborator flow and correspondence workbooks.
- Collaborates with collaborators to tailor collab to elevate skill sets or refine skill sets.
- Completes attendance audits for all learner rotations and escalates to appropriate parties based on findings.
- Serves as a point of contact for facility escalations and determines appropriate course of action for resolutions.
- Participates and facilitates weekly functional meetings including 1:1s, coaching meetings, and team meetings.
- Manages schedules including time off approvals and necessary adjustments to ensure coverage of projects and meetings when appropriate.
- Provides onboarding schedule for new collaborators within the function.
- Participates in development activities designated by the College in pursuit of personal and professional elevation.
- Participates in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience processing applications and credentialing in an education or healthcare environment is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in staffing and scheduling is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience processing Experiential Learning Placement is required.
- Demonstrated experience producing professional communication and correspondence is required.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a people leader is required.
- Demonstrated experience providing a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
