1. Accountabilities for your role - what are you expected to do?
- Be accountable for a regional sales team’s new business revenue number, driving growth through our key verticals
- Develop and execute a sales strategy with a key focus on channel and integrated partner development
- Lead, manage and motivate a team of direct sales professionals focused on identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities
- Be responsible for creating sales plans, forecasts & targets, managing budgets & meeting sales targets and goals
- Bring payments sales experience providing direct support to individual sales efforts
- Work closely with the Partnerships Team; helping to identify key sectors and markets we wish to operate in and support this team as they attract and on-board new payments partners
- Provide detailed information from a planning, forecasting and performance management perspective delivering insights and quickly identifying where course change is required
- Evangelise process rigour from selling practices, forecasting, new account boarding, improving quality and standards across the team
- Develop an engaged, high performing team united around a shared vision
- Deliver plan, achieving sales and financial targets by delivering new business at acceptable margin and risk, both from a regulatory and credit perspective

3.Technical Competencies for your role – what are you expected to know
- Demonstrable experience of sales management, forecasting, territory planning and performance management
- Broad commercial and financial acumen
- Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and data analytics tools
- Familiarity with payments and/or banking products/services and current market trends including online / internet payment methods;
Specialist knowledge of the Acquiring market is desirable.
4. Qualifications Required to perform your Role?
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years of sales management or equivalent relevant experience
- Full drivers license with ability to travel within regional terriotory
