THE ROLE
AG1 is seeking an experienced Vice-President, Go-To-Market (GTM) & Product Management to spearhead the end-to-end commercialization and go-to-market strategies for product launches across Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) and Retail channels. This senior leadership position is dedicated to crafting and executing innovative plans that drive sustained product growth across distinctive product categories and deliver groundbreaking innovations to market with strategic precision and lasting impact.
The VP, GTM & Product Management will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging trends, assess market needs, and lead the transformation of product ideas into high-performing, market-ready offerings.
Reporting to the SVP, Member Experience, the ideal candidate will have strong experience in product innovation and product management, category development, and go-to-market strategies. As a key member of the leadership team, this role will influence the physical product roadmap of AG1, spearhead new product launches, and drive impactful results that align with business goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive Product Management Strategy: Partner with Research, Nutrition & Innovation team to develop and execute AG1 product innovation initiatives, expanding product offerings and growing key categories in alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee Concept-to-Commercialization Process: Spearhead the creation and launch of innovative product concepts to bring to market. Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Customer Insights, Retention, Research, Nutrition, and Innovation to strategize on a unified approach that will drive optimal results.
- Identify Whitespace Opportunities: Utilize market analysis, consumer insights, and industry trends to uncover and prioritize growth opportunities, shaping our AG1 brand product vision and positioning.
- Develop Business Cases: Build compelling business cases for new product development, integrating market research, financial projections, and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead Product Launches: Manage cross-functional teams to execute seamless product launches, ensuring timely and efficient market introduction.
- Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee the complete product lifecycle, including updates, refreshes, and discontinuations, to maintain product relevance and competitiveness.
- Category Management & Pricing Strategy: Develop strategies for category management, product assortment, pricing, and bundling to enhance market positioning and drive revenue growth.
- Align Product with Brand Strategy: Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create detailed product briefs that align with brand strategies and foster consumer engagement.
- Drive the product roadmap: Partner with Customer Insights and Research, Nutrition & Innovation Team to identify and develop non-formula product opportunities that meet consumer needs and support our broader brand vision.
- Measure and Optimize for Success: Establish and track key performance metrics for product innovation and product management efforts, leveraging data insights to refine and enhance future strategies.
- Build and Lead High-Performing Teams: Recruit, mentor, and lead a dynamic team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results-driven excellence.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 15+ years of experience in product management, brand management, category development, or related roles within the consumer goods or wellness industry
- Proven track record of successful product innovation launches, from concept to commercialization,
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, category management, and product development
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams, with a focus on mentorship and professional development
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform market data and consumer insights into actionable product strategies
- A deep passion for health, wellness, and creating positive impacts on consumers’ lives through innovative products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization
- A desire to follow broader cultural conversation across social media around key topic areas: health and wellness, sports, etc
- A growth mindset with a focus on innovation, agility, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $216,500.00 - $256,500.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
