Position Overview

As a forward-thinking company, we are shaping the future of higher education and proactively seeking talented individuals with experience in Ellucian Banner for prospective opportunities within our organization.  Do you have a strong background in college or university administration, specifically in the areas of Bursar or Cashier's office? Apply today and begin your journey exploring a career as a SIG consultant who specializes in the Ellucian Banner Student Accounts Receivable (AR) module, processes, and functions. This is a remote position that involves travel and presents an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving higher education systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Banner implementation services, including training, functional consulting, and technical support, directly at client sites and remotely from home.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, recommending and implementing technological solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional issues within the Banner Student AR module, ensuring seamless operation for our clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 or more years working within the Higher Education Industry.
  • 5 or more years of experience working with Ellucian Banner Student AR module or as a Banner Student consultant, demonstrating advanced user proficiency.
  • Proven expertise in implementing the Banner Student module, transforming and automating business processes within the Bursar or Cashier’s office.
  • Demonstrated functional experience using the Fee Assessment tools in Banner.
  • Experience in a consulting capacity, focusing on enhancing business process and creating efficiency.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues within Banner.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and a proven customer service approach.
  • The ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing project based work.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive reports supporting various student areas using Banner. 
  • Proficiency in translating user requirements into technical specifications for our support team.
  • A deep understanding of Banner usage across diverse institutional settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in a consulting role, showcasing the ability to analyze complex issues, provide strategic recommendations, and guide clients through successful implementations.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality consulting services, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Pay and Benefits

  • The salary range is $90,000 to $125,000 + annual bonus

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location. Final compensation will be determined through mutual agreement between the successful candidate and SIG.
