Job description

Our client is seeking a Quality Control & Logistics Specialist to support their operations in a scientific or technical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, managing quality control documentation, and coordinating logistics for international shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.

Salary - $1150 pm

Type of Work - Full Time (REMOTE)

Work Schedule - European (Ireland) Time Zone

Requirements

  • In depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros & cons involved in this industry).
  • Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences) or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Alternatively, a BA/BSc in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field is acceptable.
  • Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or Quality Assurance is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, document management, or logistics in a technical industry (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life sciences, or chemical manufacturing).
  • Experience working with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), regulatory documents, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, DocuSign) and logistics tools (e.g., FedEx, DHL, ERP systems).
  • Basic understanding of scientific or technical products (preferred but can be learned).
  • Knowledge of ISO, FDA, CE marking, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
