What We Are Looking For - Scope of Role

 

We are looking for an experienced and talented Global Strategic Marketing Manager to join our SureSmile team. This individual will work in alignment with the regions and cross functional partners to develop and implement global marketing initiatives for the SureSmile business. The role will work with global commercial teams on strategic planning incorporating marketing activities including development, planning, and execution of the tactics to support marketplace growth and launching new products globally.

 

What Will You Do - Responsibilities for Employment

  • Partners with local markets and matrixed partners on market research, communications, KPI’s, pricing, consistent strategy execution, positioning, and value proposition validation.
  • Partners with commercial leaders to drive strategic marketing initiatives to meet business objectives.
  • Prepares and/or evaluates market research and creative briefs
  • Sets up and maintains KPIs to measure to and attain committed revenue goals
  • Works with external agencies and partners to execute campaigns and launch planning
  • Develops and executes market research to identify and analyze market trends to develop actionable insights to provide input to the development pipeline, plan and execute tactics and be the voice of the customer.
  • Develops and manages project commercialization plans that support the brand.
  • Partners with product development to create impactful new product launches
  • Partners with clinical and training teams to develop clinical confidence and product credibility in markets while supporting the development of Key Opinion Leaders
  • Owns global project launch planning and marketing metrics collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute. This includes but not limited to product and country expansions.
  • Collaborates effectively with Agencies to ensure efficiency and effective completion of deliverables in a timely manner
  • Manages and acts as a liaison between global business unit teams and local commercial teams to successful execute on aligned strategies and planning including (but not limited to) launches
  • Acts as project manager as needed on projects as assigned  
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

 

Who You Are - Qualifications

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

 

Years and Type of Experience:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional marketing or commercial work experience implementing marketing strategy
  • Language skills a plus (ie Spanish or other European languages)
  • Experience managing agencies and vendors and budgets
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and global partners
  • Experience managing global projects
  • Experience working in multi-cultural situations with the understanding of different market needs and dynamics
  • Experience in CPG, dental, medical or pharmaceutical marketing preferred

 

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities:

  • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
  • Strong situational awareness and influencing skills to drive cross-functional team performance
  • Ability to project manage projects and drive functional teams to execution and timely completion
  • Ability to think out of the box and develop tools (utilizing available resources or independently) to support successful and efficient commercial execution including global marketing and sales tools
  • Strong Analytical skill set coupled with strategic mindset
  • Comfortable and competent using KPIs to measure for actionable outcomes and results-oriented insights
  • Must have a high-level of transparency, accountability, and detail orientation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong appetite for International engagement and demonstrated cultural sensitivity
  • Experience executing and launching marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Must be comfortable to understand the big-picture outlook and creative enough to proactively propose projects driving toward revenue growth and process efficiencies
