Job role

The Procurement Specialist will offer guidance on different projects, working with Allianz Direct, and reporting to Allianz Services. 

What you will do

•      Act as first level support for the supplier during the Ariba registration process
•      Align with supplier in case of technical questions regarding RFP and ARIBA topics
•      Request information needed to create contract workspace to the initiative owner
•      Align with S2C team and initiative owner to complete the qualification process before the contract is signed
•      Help initiative owner to reflect the savings figure, description, etc. in savings module accordingly and follow up until the approval is given
•      Continuously monitor and ensure that re-screening of suppliers is actioned by S2C accordingly
•      Identify and drive process optimization 
•      Work in SAP FI, ARIBA, SAP-MM 
•      Control the relevant Desktop procedures for all services to be up to date
•      Consult and support the customer in operational sourcing tasks
•      Liaise with other Operational Entities, units, departments as well as with externals (clients, providers) and fosters good relationships
•      Enrollment of new suppliers to the ARIBA tool and training of the participants
•      Contact person for customers and strategic purchasing

What you bring

•      University Degree 
•      Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience within procurement 
•      Fluent English and German for customer and internal communication
•      Accurate and reliable way of working 
•      Excellent communication skills

•      ARIBA System knowledge 
•      SAP-FI/AP knowledge
•      International cross functional work experience
•      Solution orientated, decision maker, self-driven working
