Senior Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled, 7+ years of experience Senior Backend Developer to join our client's team and help build scalable, high-performance web applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity). Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Integrate and manage data from Headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity).
• Design efficient database schemas and work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend services.
• Implement authentication and authorization strategies (JWT, OAuth, API Keys).
• Work closely with frontend developers to deliver seamless API integrations.
• Optimize backend services for scalability, performance, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile development processes.

Mandatory Requirements:

✅ Node.js and experience with backend frameworks 

✅ TypeScript – strong knowledge of type safety and best practices. 

✅ GraphQL – experience with GraphQL implementations. 

✅ Headless CMS – expertise in working with Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, or other headless CMS solutions. 

✅ Database Management – experience with any database. 

✅ Knowledge of authentication, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Nice to Have:

🔹 Vercel – experience deploying and managing backend services. 

🔹 Next.js – understanding of API routes and server-side functionalities. 

🔹 Design System – experience working with reusable component libraries. 

🔹 Docker/Kubernetes – containerization and orchestration knowledge. 

🔹 CI/CD pipelines – experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
