About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Design Lead to oversee our client’s design department. This role is perfect for a driven leader with strong management skills and a keen eye for design excellence. The Design Lead will focus on managing projects and coordinating with freelancers while contributing hands-on to design tasks when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to guide teams, maintain brand consistency, and deliver exceptional design solutions across various projects and niches.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and lead a team of freelance designers to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee the creation of visual assets across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and innovation.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for the design department to achieve organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary liaison for cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
• Provide hands-on design support for high-priority or overflow projects when needed.
• Review and approve creative work, offering constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Manage workflows, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently across projects, with a focus in Figma.
• Stay informed about design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the team’s output remains fresh and competitive.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design roles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other relevant software.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across various niches.
• Proven experience managing remote teams and coordinating with freelancers.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong experience and portfolio in web design 
• Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English oral and written.

Position:  Design Lead

Remote Status: Fully Remote

Preferred Location: Global

Working Hours: 8 am to 5 pm EST

Holidays: US Local Holidays

Salary: USD 2200 to USD 2500 per month
