Job Summary

AMETEK’s Division Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager will develop and implement innovative and streamlined recruiting strategies to attract top talent, enhance our employer brand, and support our organization's talent and growth objectives for five business units of the Process & Analytical Instruments division.  The TA Manager should possess strong business knowledge, project management experience, exhibit strong communication skills, understand the nuances of recruiting across traditional and digital channels, and have strong leadership skills to efficiently and cost-effectively assure a high caliber workforce that will support the division’s future growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively utilize company talent acquisition best practices, tools and systems aligned with business goals including quality of talent and efficiency of the recruiting process.

  • Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle including sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding to ensure process and administration achieves cost efficiency while maintaining service quality and favorable candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Ensure efficient talent acquisition operations for the division including working with external vendors, utilizing assessment tools, employee referral program, interview skills training, etc. and measure cost, quality and efficiency of each initiative.
  • Lead efforts to develop relationships to attract and source candidates from external sources, schools, and professional networks.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on hiring effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
     

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruiting strategies for executive roles and professional level roles.  Experience working in a retained search firm environment a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, trends, and technologies.
  • Experience with enhancing applicant tracking systems and HR analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to understand complex business challenges in the context of the bigger picture.
  • Occasional travel to met with BU leadership, or to attend a division meeting.
