Job Summary

We are seeking an Account Development Representative to support our Microbial Solutions business.

 
The Account Development Representative is responsible for driving Microbial Solutions sales in specified region. S/he administers the sales process for specific products, services, accounts and/or sales opportunities via phone and e-mail while supporting a Regional Account Manager team. This individual works closely with the Microbial Solutions Commercial team to meet and exceed sales quotas for a specific territory.

 

The following are the job duties & responsibilities related to the Account Development Representative

  • Drives sales in specified region.
  • Point of contact for customer inquiries and outbound prospecting.
  • Engage with existing customers and generating sales opportunities.
  • Lead projects such as dormant account reimplementation, next generation products and end of life campaigns.
  • Establish new customers and maintain/grow existing customer accounts.
  • Establish and nurture positive, productive relationships with customer accounts end-users, management and purchasing contacts.
  • Assist with territory opportunities and product lifecycle management.
  • Partner with regional Account Managers to meet shared sales goals and manage territory opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing to drive product promotions and provide feedback on ROI.
  • Share customer problems/concerns with relevant departments for quality resolution.
  • Maintain a CRM database via updates to sales opportunities, sales stages, marketing statuses, and customer intelligence data.
  • Provide pricing, create and submit individualized quotes and support price renewal price process in region.
  • Client communications.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in marketing, business or related discipline.
  • Experience: 2 years related experience in sales or customer services.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
  • Languages: English
  • Certification/Licensure: None.
Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $33.65/hr. - $40.87/hr. USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
