Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Trainee Candidate Manager to join our internal recruitment team, supporting the Cometti Group and its associated businesses.

This is an entry-level position designed to train and develop a recruitment professional who will play a key role in sourcing and attracting top talent for various roles across multiple industries.

The Candidate Manager will be trained in advertising roles, sourcing candidates through diverse channels, and leveraging AI technology and social media platforms to enhance recruitment efficiency. This role will be guided by the General Manager, with a dotted reporting line to the Internal Recruiter, who will transition to external client recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and implement best practices in candidate sourcing, including job advertisements, LinkedIn outreach, and AI-driven recruitment tools.
  • Proactively advertise job openings through platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and online job boards.
  • Source and screen candidates for roles such as Tyre Fitters, Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Machine Operators, Accounting Staff, Sales Staff, and Senior Business Management positions.
  • Manage recruitment for roles across Perth (North & South), Pilbara, Port Hedland, Tom Price, Newman, Karratha, Alice Springs, Darwin, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, and Adelaide.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Senior Internal Recruiter to ensure recruitment strategies align with business needs.
  • Assist in streamlining and automating recruitment processes, with a strong focus on AI integration and digital transformation.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate pipelines and recruitment progress.
  • Provide input on AI-driven recruitment enhancements to optimize hiring efficiency.
  • Conduct telephone, video, and face-to-face interviews with candidates.
