Job description

Job Location: Remote
This position can be based in Hershey, PA or remote.

Summary:
Unlike creatives, strategists, and producers, account management doesn’t focus on delivering specific outputs. Instead, it amplifies the overall quality of the team’s work. To do this effectively, it’s essential to have a deep understanding of each role and an informed, independent perspective on all aspects of the process. This is especially important because Creative Studio’s clients are our colleagues.

Our studio is at an exciting juncture as we grow and expand our capabilities to meet the demands of an ever-evolving media landscape and shifting business needs. To sustain this momentum without losing stability, we need strong account leadership to guide us through this period of transformation.

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership, Process Management, and Daily Operations

Manage Account Logistics: Ensure flawless handling of all account logistics.
Project Ownership: Fully own projects from start to finish with minimal oversight, managing both the brands and the internal team.
Actionable Meeting Notes: Distribute comprehensive and actionable meeting notes.
Smooth Process Management: Establish processes to keep accounts running smoothly across projects and workstreams.
Leadership Presence: Be recognized as a leader and a source of clarity and solutions across disciplines within the team.
Brand Partnership: Drive brand relationships by understanding their organization and needs, acting as their trusted partner and primary contact.
Strategic Insight: Provide strong input on strategy and maintain a clear perspective on creative work.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the team delivers high-quality results across all projects.
Project Management Collaboration: Partner with the PM to stay updated on all project statuses, tracking and flagging key milestones.
Brand Clarity: Encourage brands to seek clarity and help them identify their needs.
Difficult Conversations: Handle challenging conversations both internally and with brands with confidence.
Anticipate Issues: Use strong intuition to foresee potential complications, anticipating brand needs through information gathered from day-to-day interactions.
Goal Mobilization: Mobilize the team towards goals decisively, providing clear direction.

Core Competencies:
• Confident Presenter: Present information clearly and confidently.
• Creative Strategy Understanding: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of creative strategy and use it to evaluate and defend work as necessary.
• Create a Positive Team Environment: Ability to set a positive tone for the team, keeping everyone focused on solutions.
• Strong oral and written communications skills: Able to clearly communicate the immediate next steps in any situation.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain impeccable attention to detail, from proofreading emails to collaborating with production, ensuring every aspect is double-checked and approved before releasing work.
• Alignment Management: Can confidently navigate divergent opinions internally and externally, creating a unified path forward.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• 4-6+ years of experience in Account Management at a Creative Agency
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) preferred, but not required
• Integrated production and digital experience
