As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive legal support driving our legal operation and corporate governance initiatives. You will work closely with our General Counsel. This is a pivotal role and the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of contract management, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
What you will doProvide contract support for client agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other commercial agreements;Manage the contracts lifecycle process for all agreements;Create and maintain an existing contracts document library;Create and maintain a program to document and share contract obligations with internal stakeholders;Assist in the development and management of internal policies and procedures and other compliance requirements;Assist with data privacy projects and related compliance requirements, ranging from updating the company’s privacy policy and notices and assisting with managing the company’s data subject requests response process;Assist HR in maintaining state accounts and compliance with state employment and other legal requirementsWork with the General Counsel on special projects and initiativesWhat you will need to be successfulA paralegal degree or certificate, or advanced degree in lawGood working knowledge of common commercial agreements, clauses and contracting practicesExcellent communication and time management skillsExcellent writing and proofreading abilitiesMust be detail oriented and proactiveAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team atmospherePrior in-house legal department experience preferred, but not requiredAbout BlackCloak
