Job description

We are building an AI system for analysts and scientists, based on a fundamentally new approach to reasoning and knowledge representation. We go beyond state-of-the-art LLMs by combining algorithms in symbolic ways, to provide novel capabilities like performing multi-step analysis, displaying a verifiable reasoning path, and assessing uncertainty. We envision applications supporting and automating analysis and research in domains such as Finance, Strategy Consulting, Engineering, Material Sciences, and more.

We are looking for an experienced, senior Finance Operations professional to join our operations team. You will be part of a lean, results-oriented team of creative problem-solvers and doers, reacting to the day-to-day needs of our evolving organisation, while also building the systems and processes needed for us to scale effectively.

Required experience
  • Hands-on experience in finance and revenue operations, with an interest in other operations areas
  • Proven ability to drive strategic financial insights
  • Advanced technical proficiency, with proven ability to build and leverage sophisticated financial tools, models, and data analytics platforms
  • 1-2 years in a top-tier management consulting firm combined with early-stage startup experience, setting ambitious goals and achieving them
  • Advanced degree in Finance, or related quantitative field
  • Desire to grow and work at the forefront of AI research and engineering

  • Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a wide range of strategic and critical topics for the growth of the company, for example:
  • Strategic 
  • Develop our legal entity strategy for revenue, tax, and employment considerations
  • Explore and implement upgrades to our stock co-ownership program
  • Manage fundraising rounds and investor relations
  • Provide strategic financial counsel
  • Develop revenue and product pricing strategies 
  • HR Finance / Payroll
  • Expand our global hiring and payroll capabilities
  • Optimise workforce planning and spend predictions
  • Research and implement innovative Reward / Incentive structures
  • Operations
  • Vendors and service providers: negotiate contracts, monitor performance, optimise processes 
  • Prepare finance infrastructure for revenue
  • Develop agile financial systems and processes that can adapt to rapid organisational growth
