Special Projects Assistant to the CEO
We are looking for a Special Projects Assistant to the CEO, to measure, track, and report on a range of different projects within the company. This is not a standard Executive Assistant role, but one focused exclusively on project management and customer care. This position is a direct report to the CEO.
Your role is to be a 10x force-multiplier for the CEO, for all aspects of customer care.
You have to be organized, willing to jump into any situation, write and speak fluently, and execute at the CEO's level and pace daily. Nothing should be beneath you. Nothing should be above your reach. Your duties will vary daily, and your responsibilities will grow, as you find your feet. Your work will involve fighting fires, putting them out, and being able to maintain multiple workstreams of action without dropping the ball.
The ideal candidate is an independent thinker, independent learner (absorbs technical concepts quickly), thrives under pressure and pace (even relishes it), thrives under significant responsibility, and and can start making a difference within a week of starting the role.
THE ROLE
Track all product roadmaps and projects for the CEO.
Keep multiple projects on track, and moving forward, on behalf of the CEO.
Ensure that communication is flowing between all parties to achieve the CEO's daily priorities.
Ensure that all projects and products are being implemented at the highest quality, and in a measurable way.
Provide daily summaries of the status of key projects and customer accounts, to the CEO.
Prepares the CEO for various customer meetings, on a daily basis.
Designs, creates, and maintains the company's CRM, on behalf of the CEO.
NECESSARY SKILLS
4+ years of digital product management experience, in managing the software product lifecycle for mobile apps.
4+ years of expertise in JIRA, JQL, writing user stories, tracking product requirements.
Flawless written communication, with attention to grammar, punctuation, and copywriting.
THE REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in product management for digital projects.
4+ years of experience in designing and implementing a CRM.
4+ years of experience in using JIRA and JQL.
A passion for customer service, and a customer-first attitude towards work and prioritization.
An unrivalled work ethic, and an unflappable attitude under critical, time-sensitive situations.
Has experience in working with Engineering, Design, and QA teams in a high-tech company
Willingness and ability to work the non-traditional hours of the sports industry, including weekends, evenings and holidays (when sports teams have their games scheduled), as needed.

A little about you:
Have 7-10+ years of experience building full-stack cloud-based software systems in a Typescript/React/Node environment
Experienced in providing technical leadership and upskilling your colleagues through code reviews, collaborative development, and technical discussions
Ship high-quality, complete work that you own end-to-end in a fast-paced, B2B SaaS environment
Possess strong attention to detail, ensuring that it doesn’t just work, it works well
Have great communication skills; you work well with others, and you care more about solving the problem than coming up with the best solution yourself
Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or have an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Are (or can be) located in or around the New York area, with the ability and desire to work in our office (near Lincoln Center) at least 1-2x per week
