We offer the experience of solving complex problems while continuing to grow multiple facets of your career. Lighthouse is where innovation meets support and where collaboration is the key ingredient to success.  We grow together and are stronger together.

What’s unique about this role?

This role is helping push forward eDiscovery analytics state-of-practice to the next level leveraging a range of structure analytics, predictive AI, and generative AI. AI & Analytics Consultants at Lighthouse drive and execute complex electronic discovery review projects for law firms and corporations leveraging AI (e.g., TAR, GenAI) and analytics (e.g., structured sets, classifiers). This role is both highly consultative and highly process/tech-oriented requiring a deep knowledge of discovery workflows and requirements, and high literacy with respect to the state-of-the-art in discovery review and analytics technology.

Lighthouse AI & Analytics consultants maintain a portfolio of work that spans managing predictive AI and GenAI implementations for specific litigations and investigations, as well as designing and maturing programmatic analytics implementations for our corporate enterprise clients. As part of an innovation-focused team, Lighthouse AI & Analytics consultants play a pivotal role in articulating and prioritizing the requirements for the next wave of our proprietary tools, and also play a central role in validating functionality of new tools once developed.

What will this person do?

Execution of AI & Analytics client projects, including:

  • Scoping and implementation on projects leveraging predictive AI, GenAI, and/or structured analytics
  • Ensuring client requirements remain current across the lifecycle of the engagement and (re)aligning development approach to those requirements
  • Meticulous data tracking, statistical validation design and implementation, and metrics reporting to support the transparency and accountability of algorithmic discovery review.
  • Coordination with support and technical teams across the organization to ensure we are leveraging the full suite of LH capabilities to provide best-in-class support and value to our clients.
  • Documenting lessons learned for internal discussion and process/technology improvements.
  • Tracking and escalating project risk concerns up the chain as necessary.
  • Providing end-of-project metrics to inform ROI analyses and quarterly business reviews.

Contribution to operational initiatives, including:

  • Developing or maturing playbooks for core workflows of established offerings.
  • Implementing and updating AI & Analytics training curriculum (composed of a suite of documentation, simulation activities, and evaluation) for new members of the team or secondees from other groups who are supporting AI & Analytics workflows.
  • Providing requirements analysis and user validation input to our product development teams.
  • Collaborating with marketing, client success, and sales on client-facing overviews of Lighthouse AI & Analytics solutions.

Bring your passion and together we will shine.   It would also be great if you have the following:

  • Advanced degree preferred in relevant discipline (law, technology, statistics)
  • Minimum 5 years litigation or eDiscovery industry experience required
  • Minimum 3 years advanced analytics in eDiscovery required
  • Duties are performed in a virtual office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane. Approximately 5% of the time will be spent traveling.
  • Prior in-house corporate legal, law firm legal staff or eDiscovery vendor experience required
