Job description

Your mission
You will play a crucial role in promoting and enhancing the online presence of flora&faunavisions. This role focuses on developing and executing social media strategies to engage the target audience, increase brand visibility, and drive business growth. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with our founder and Chief Creative Officer to create compelling content and maintain a consistent brand image across various social media platforms.
Your profile
1. Social Media Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the studio's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with our founder to create an editorial calendar and schedule content for various platforms.
2. Content Creation and Management
  • Create engaging and visually appealing social media content (e.g., graphics, videos, photos) that aligns with the studio's brand identity and resonates with the target audience.
  • Write compelling and concise copy for social media posts, ensuring brand voice consistency.
  • Manage and update social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and any other relevant platforms.
3. Community Engagement and Customer Support
  • Engage with the studio's social media audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor social media conversations, track mentions, and identify opportunities for engagement or customer support.
  • Foster relationships with followers and influencers to increase brand advocacy and collaborations.
4. Award Applications
  • Identify relevant industry awards and assist in the preparation and submission of award applications, showcasing the studio's notable achievements and projects.
5. Public Relations (PR) Activities
  • Collaborate with our founder to create press kits, including press releases, project highlights, and media assets. Maintain relationships with PR contacts, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers, to secure media coverage and feature opportunities.
6. Event Management
  • Identify and recommend relevant conferences, workshops, and talks where the design studio can showcase its expertise and connect with industry professionals. Coordinate the studio's participation in such events, including speaker arrangements and promotional activities.
7. Performance Analysis and Reporting
  • Monitor key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, to evaluate the success of campaigns.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights to optimize social media strategies and improve performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media analytics and present findings to the marketing team.
8. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visual assets that align with social media campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and share relevant knowledge with the team.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a social media specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Being proactive and coming up with ideas.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content that aligns with the brand.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Experience in the design industry or a creative environment is a plus.
  • Workload of approximately 20 hours with flexible scheduling.
  • 16 to 20€ per hour, depending on qualifications.
  • Your work remote and/or at our office.
