The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for driving/tracking and reporting on the delivery of one of Flutter Group's key strategic global technology initiatives, working closely with the Senior Project Manager and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will become a key member of the Project team. 

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Senior Project Manager to deliver overall objectives.

  • Guide workstreams a project from inception through to execution.

  • Apply proven methods, including in-house frameworks of project management to ensure quality delivery.

  • Manage the project backlog and schedule.

  • Led teams to deliver projects using Agile techniques and artefacts: Epics, User Stories etc. 

  • Establish project plans and manage schedules, issues, risks, dependencies, and overall status, including benefit tracking.

  • Keep all stakeholders informed of the above.

  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary project teams through the entire delivery lifecycle.

  • Foster effective collaboration through clear definition and management of project objectives and goals.

  • ​Have a practical understanding of project value management and benefits realisation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-5 Years' experience in project management; ideally in a technology business and/or a federated operating model.

  • Comfortable delivering projects using different methodologies, Agile or waterfall techniques.

  • Agile (Confluence / Jira), PRINCE2 or PMP certifications would be a distinct advantage.

  • Worked on projects using some or all the following technical fields: Cyber; Data Analytics; and business intelligence tooling.

  • Demonstrable experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams from different fields.

  • Managed suppliers and 3rd party consultants working remotely/virtually.

  • Skilled in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.

  • An excellent communicator, dealing with a wide range of people at all levels and communicating technical issues in clear language.

  • A leader of people, with the ability to motivate and instil vitality when needed.

  • Adept at identifying and addressing project impediments in a timely and effective way.

  • Flexible and resilient in a constantly evolving environment.

  • Communication: Proactive and considered in approach with stakeholder communications, with excellent written and verbal skills (English). A good listener, capable of providing constructive feedback that can support conflict resolution.
