The Role: Senior Analyst - Gas and LNG

The Team: You will be working in the Global Gas and LNG Team in Gurgaon, India. The team consists of over analysts based in offices around the world including Singapore, Penang, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Paris, Houston, Washington, and Rio de Janeiro.

Responsibilities:

• Support research activities. Frame research topics, develop and write papers associated with natural gas and LNG markets in South Asia – India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka. Present analysis to clients to assist them in their business activities.

• Stay updated of the latest developments in South Asia. Support quarterly market and data updates, track key trends with a focus on policies, regulations, supply, demand, infrastructure, and pricing by conducting primary research through public sources and interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Be responsible for data collation and analytics. Become proficient users of internal databases and tools to create bespoke research and consulting offerings.

• Support consulting activities and engagements. Assist in project delivery in relevant natural gas and LNG projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in relevant areas such as Business, Finance, Economics, Humanities.
• Prior experience with 5 - 7 years of work experience in natural gas and LNG markets, preferably in South Asia.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience in energy modeling or consulting is beneficial.
• Experience with databases and PowerBI will be viewed positively.

• An excellent communicator with strong writing and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and possess strong numeracy.
• A team player that can work with international colleagues across border and time zones.
