Job description

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for a Financial Analyst, Finance Consumer & Product, for Nike EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) within the Consumer Finance team. This person will play a meaningful role in driving visibility in Nike EMEAs financials via the lens of product throughout product life cycles and financial forecast cycles. In this role, your ability to connect retail & financial KPIs across product & marketplace into meaningful storytelling, will be highly valued!

We are seeking someone with a passion for Nike product, a self-starter that can dive into details and build reporting infrastructure in a newly created team, while still having the ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.

What you will work on

You will be responsible for creating visibility on Nike EMEAs performance vs Product x Marketplace financial goals for both Revenue and Margin. This role will be critical in assessing risks & opportunities across EMEA product portfolio and providing meaningful visualizations to support business leaders’ decision making.

  • Support in creating the reporting infrastructure within a newly created team.
  • Actively interpret financial results; use trends and macro insights to support key planning assumptions with meaningful guidance.
  • Support Consumer Finance team with Monthly and Quarterly EMEA leadership business reviews, working closely with Finance Business Planning team.
  • Prepare Seasonal reporting packs that provide insights into business performance. Highlight key critical metrics and potential implication for the future with recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities and perform ad hoc deep dives into specific product dimensions to influence performance.

Who you will work with

This role reports to Finance Director, Mens, Consumer & Product. As part of the Central Consumer Finance Team You will be partnering with Finance & Demand Supply Management across Consumer, Marketplace and Business Planning. The role will be supporting Consumer Finance in an agile working framework.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Business Administration and Accounting.
  • Experience in Planning, Budgeting, and Financial modelling.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate sophisticated analyses into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Ability to operate optimally in agile working environments communicating effectively with teammates while handling multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter who pro-actively brings new ideas and initiatives.
  • Ability to work with large amount of data across various systems and tools and be able to create sharp visualizations PowerPoint.
