Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Sales Account Manager to oversee a diverse range of client accounts and drive significant sales growth. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders, design and implement sales campaigns, and lead a team of sales professionals to meet targets. Our client specialises in the distribution of infrastructure, networking, and security solutions, offering an extensive portfolio of products including containment systems, cable management, Siemon cabling, and security solutions from top brands such as Velcro, EnGenius, and Hikvision. Additionally, they provide customised services like Velcro cutting, pre-terminated solutions, and engraved labelling to support even the most intricate installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of remote sales professionals to ensure sales targets and KPIs are achieved.
Maintain regular communication with the remote team, providing guidance and support.
Oversee and nurture existing client accounts to encourage recurring business.
Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns, delivering updates and reports to key stakeholders.
Provide ongoing training, resources, and support to ensure the teams success.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
Gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance processes and service offerings.
Handle administrative tasks, including audits, performance reviews, and reporting.
Manage client relationships, ensuring expectations are met and strong partnerships are maintained.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to keep offerings relevant and competitive.

Core Skills:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong ability to understand client needs and provide customised solutions.
Proven track record of effectively managing multiple client accounts.
Experience in remotely managing sales teams to achieve targets.
Build lasting relationships with clients to foster repeat business.
Capable of presenting and executing sales strategies while engaging with stakeholders.
Efficiently track and manage sales activities, deadlines, and client requests.
Ability to align client challenges with both short-term and long-term goals.
Adapt to changing client needs and pivot strategies accordingly.
Utilise insightful questioning to understand client expectations and address team concerns.
