Senior Project Manager, Major Projects

Hi, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Major Projects for a client in Montreal for a 1 year mandate (permanent possible), remote role from anywhere in Canada! (must be able to travel to the US unrestricted)

Our firm's estimate: for a 1-year mandate, hourly rate of $110-135 depending on experience and expertise, for a permanent position, $125-150K.

Profil

• 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in mining, field operations, or heavy industrial environments.
  
• In-depth knowledge of WAN/LAN infrastructure, telecom & Radio communication systems, server platforms, application development and cloud solutions.
  
• Experience collaborating with infrastructure maintenance teams and field operations personnel.
  
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with diverse teams.
  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in change management and user training.
  
• Expert and experienced project & Program delivery skills and competencies
  
• Expert PM Plus in delivery
  
• Understands the methods adopted by Major Projects in terms of WBS structures, chapters for feasibilities and package management
  
• Strength and curiosity in using data to drive improvements
