What We Do
Join the finance Strategic Initiatives Delivery team for one of Fortune’s "100 Best Companies to Work For®". Apply your project management skills on medium to large scale finance and accounting initiatives across multiple functional areas. Work with business project sponsors, business operations, finance, and accounting professionals.
As the Finance and Accounting Integration Senior Project Manager you will oversee efforts to transition newly acquired entities into First American.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the business sponsor and cross-functional teams to define and execute an integration strategy
- Facilitate current state accounting process discovery sessions
- Lead functional team efforts to define and effect future state process
- Oversee financial system integration
- Manage the project plan to keep milestones on track and address or escalate issues and risks
- Facilitate meetings in person and remote, regularly reporting progress
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of problems or barriers to success and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise
What You'll Bring
Successful candidates possess the following attributes
- Recent experience migrating accounting processes
- Expertise building financial system integrations
- Ability to effectively interface with senior management
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Ability to formulate the big picture while working on project details
- A tolerance for ambiguity and flexibility to changing projects and priorities
- Proven ability to follow established project management practices including management of requirements, scope and risks.
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a business field
- PMP or CAPM Certification preferred
- 5+ years of project or finance/accounting related experience
- Conceptual understanding of current technologies and methodologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors
- Oracle integration experience preferred
The pay range for this role is $86,700.00 - $115,600.00
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
