About the Role:

As a Clinical Research Postdoctoral Fellow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of youth safety and mental health research by bridging academic thought leadership, community co-design, and product development. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Product Integration, with opportunities to collaborate across research, product, and data science teams, you will contribute to thought leadership through publications and partnerships, assist in developing study protocols and measurement frameworks, and apply research insights to real-world digital tools. This is a unique opportunity to work with large datasets, engage in interdisciplinary research, and see your work rapidly translated into AI-driven solutions that support parents and teens.

Day to Day:
  • Contribute to academic thought leadership by assisting with and leading peer-reviewed publications, research partnerships, and conference presentations.
  • Support the development of study protocols and measurement frameworks for research on youth safety and mental health.
  • Lead co-design initiatives with communities, ensuring youth and families are meaningfully involved in shaping digital solutions.
  • Write research-driven articles and assist with product content copy, using subject matter expertise to create accessible, evidence-based messaging.
  • Engage with digital communities through content that translates complex research into actionable insights for parents and teens.
  • Work with product and generative AI teams to integrate behavioral science and mental health expertise into AI-driven solutions.
  • Present and publish findings, contributing to research initiatives that shape both industry and academic conversations.
What you bring to the table:
  • PhD in psychology, behavioral sciences, public health, or a related field with a focus on youth mental health, clinical, digital engagement, or developmental psychology.
  • Experience conducting applied research in youth mental health, safety, or behavioral science, particularly in community co-design or participatory methods.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft research-driven publications, general audience articles, and product-focused content.
  • Background in study design, measurement development, and applied research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights for product and policy development.
It would be great if you also had:
  • Experience with social and digital community engagement related to youth safety and mental health.
  • Interest in generative AI and digital product development, with a desire to see research applied in real-world settings.
  • A track record of publishing peer-reviewed research and collaborating on academic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and research pipelines, including reproducible methodologies.
