About the job

As the Senior Manager of Talent Research and Intelligence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Twilio’s global talent strategy.  The Talent Acquisition Team is a critical partner to the business and our Talent Research and Intelligence team provides crucial insights on labor market trends, talent pools and competitive intelligence that impacts our current and future workforce plans. You will manage a global team and be a trusted advisor to business Executives and key stakeholders across the People organization. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead, develop and mentor a team of talent researchers, as well as foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Provide competitive talent insights to senior TA, HR and business leaders critical to our talent strategies and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Leaders and HR leaders to integrate market intelligence into strategic talent decisions.
  • Proactively partner to deliver insights in anticipation of business needs and priorities that will help Twilio respond to changing market trends.
  • Use a variety of research tools and approaches to drive and deliver research across multiple markets and functions.
  • Develop a strategic framework for the Talent Intelligence team to effectively narrate our story, identify market challenges and trends, and adapt Twilio’s approach accordingly.
  • Establish proactive pipeline system and strategy that enables our recruiting team to have an open channel for passive or warm leads, for our critical, highly repeatable roles globally.

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, with 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, analytics or talent management.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
  • Expertise in talent market analysis and intelligence gathering and methodologies
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of of developing and implementing innovative recruitment strategies that impact a companies overall talent strategy and workforce planning
  • Experience scaling and growing teams and programs around the globe and into new markets
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience 

Desired:

  • Experience using complex data insights to tell the story in relatable terms and deliver a strong point of view
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques and machine learning algorithms. 
  • Experience partnering to build and execute on talent strategies and workforce plans
  • Experience operating in companies that have gone through significant change cycles

Location

This role will be remote, and based in Ireland or the UK

Travel 

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 5-10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.
