Job description

Our firm is seeking a Director Consulting Corporate Banking that position will play a key role within in coordination with Country Managers and Account Executives, develop plans for consulting activity in the sphere of CMS. This role will be based in Miami Florida, USA.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Role:

In this role you will be accountable to develop project pitches and secure new Consulting assignments with clients, as well as re-engagements opportunities via a consultative sales approach in assigned markets.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Where appropriate, work with designated practice areas globally to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other services and leverage global consulting solutions.
    • Lead knowledge sharing initiatives with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients.
    • Support teams business development and CMS teams in developing client partnership pitches and proposals.
    • Work closely with other office groups, including Products, Digital Partnerships & Ventures, Innovation Centers, Marketing etc., to ensure a seamless Consulting experience.
    • If required, work on client sites to design and project and manage the implementation of consulting recommendations, marketing campaigns, product value propositions, product migrations, etc.
    • Lead and deliver consulting projects, primarily around Corporate, but also in other products practices as needed. Resolve complex strategic problems.
    • Synthesize and manage complex project structures when required. Manage, facilitate and implement consulting services and meet client's business targets (assignment objectives, project scope, budget, paperwork, external consultants' and other vendors supervision and project delivery).
    • Using the products and external data to analyze client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with products key clients.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Masters degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of overall work experience including solid consulting experience.
  • Consulting experience gained within either a strategy house, a Big 4 firm, or an in-house strategy function of a financial institution is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of solid experience in the sphere of Commercial and or transactional banking (including corporate payments, cash management, trade finance), experience should be gained within a top-tier bank or the financial services practice of a top tier consulting firm.
  • At least 4 years of experience in management consulting and deep consulting skills and client engagement capabilities. Advanced clients contact and presentation skills. Credibility with clients and working teams and diplomatic skills to extract desired outcomes. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients.
  • Combination of regional and global experience is also desired.
  • Relationship management skills should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Results drive, are flexible and both internally and externally customer focused.
  • Able to travel frequently and work on client sites.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary groups.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.

Benefits:

  • U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $155,700.00 USD to $180,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. The company has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
