This is a remote position.

We are seeking a skilled Techno-Functional Appian Architect and Leader to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will lead Appian development projects, engage stakeholders, ensure best development practices, maintain high-quality documentation, and provide leadership to a team of Appian Developers.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and architecture of Appian applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the Appian platform.
Guide and mentor Appian Developers in implementing effective solutions while adhering to best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize the use of Appian technology.
Ensure comprehensive documentation throughout the development lifecycle, including design documents, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Appian development team.
Stay up to date with Appian platform updates, new features, and industry trends, actively sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements

Strong experience as an Appian Architect, focusing on both the technical and functional aspects of Appian software.
Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to understand and translate business requirements into Appian solutions.
Proven leadership skills, with experience in effectively managing and guiding a team of Appian Developers.
In-depth knowledge of Appian development best practices and design patterns.
Solid understanding of BPM technologies and principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Track record of delivering successful Appian projects on time and within budget.
Commitment to high-quality documentation, ensuring accurate and comprehensive technical records.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Appian Lead Developer certification required.
