Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson with specialized experience in creating façade cladding shop drawings using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and precise drawings for façade cladding systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This role requires expertise in façade cladding design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong attention to detail.

Prepare detailed façade cladding shop drawings using AutoCAD, including elevations, sections, and details.
Interpret architectural and engineering plans, ensuring accuracy in the representation of façade systems.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure shop drawings meet project requirements and timelines.
Revise drawings based on feedback from design teams, clients, or project stakeholders.
Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company guidelines.
Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to ensure proper implementation of shop drawings during the construction phase.
Assist in resolving technical issues and discrepancies related to the façade cladding design and installation.

Requirements

Requirements/Skills needed:

Bachelor’s Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in drafting, with a focus on façade cladding shop drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Strong understanding of façade cladding systems, materials, and installation methods.
Ability to interpret and work with architectural and structural plans.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in drafting work.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations.
Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks) is a plus but not required

Set-up and Location: WFH/Remote
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEST) | 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Full-time
