Job description

Job Title: SAP BTP Developer (Contract)
Location: [Remote]
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer with 6-8 years of overall SAP domain experience, including 2-4 years in SAP BTP development projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), cloud integrations, API management, and application development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement SAP BTP solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Work on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, including developing integrations and applications.
  • Develop and extend cloud applications on SAP BTP (or SAP SCP) and S/4HANA Cloud using key user and side-by-side extension tools.
  • Utilize SAP BTP Business Application Studio for development and deployment.
  • Create and manage sub-accounts using the Global Administration BTP role for integrations with SAP cloud-based and on-premise systems.
  • Consume REST / ODATA APIs from SAP BTP Workflow Management Service.
  • Implement User Tasks, Script Tasks, and Service Tasks in SAP BTP workflows.
  • Ensure seamless API integrations, open connectors, and SAP UI5 development.
  • Research SAP Notes and documentation to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP BTP services and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of SAP experience, with 2-4 years in SAP BTP development.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Foundry concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP Workflow Management, SAP UI5, and Business Application Studio.
  • Expertise in API integrations, open connectors, and cloud extensions.
  • Proficiency in OData, REST APIs, and SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud extensions and SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot SAP BTP services.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP BTP certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite and SAP Event Mesh.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP.
