Responsibilities
As the Survey Coordinator, you will support a team of Professional Services project managers, senior technical
architects, and supporting staff to deliver a program of Site Survey activities that will support interrelated wired and
Wi-Fi network deployment projects. You will review the information collected during site surveys and review the
information for accuracy and completeness. This will include the site survey forms and the photos taken at each
location surveyed. This individual must work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment and be able to
proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review survey forms and pictures for accuracy and completeness. Determine the validity of the data
collected. If complete, send to the information repository. If there is a lack of information in the survey
form, schedule with the survey team coordinators to send the techs back to the field to remediate the
survey data.
• Review and manage information to the data repository. Validate that all survey documents and photos
have been uploaded to the proper electronic storage location.
• Fluent in the first three layers of the OSI model
• Advanced foundation and understanding of structured cabling materials and telecom room layout,
terminology, equipment functions and infrastructure.
• Assist with the TPV project coordinator in answering field technician questions that are of a more technical
level.
• Answer questions the site survey technicians will have pertaining to items found on site so that they
correctly enter the information in the survey form.
• Providing regular, status updates including program progress toward achieving objectives.
• Using good judgment to escalate issues to Verizon senior leadership.
• Effectively use a variety of collaboration tools to create and deliver effective executive, program level
verbal and written communications (i.e. WebEx, video conferencing, email, PowerPoint, GDrive).

We are looking for an experienced person has a mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen, who
can:
• An understanding of structured cabling materials and telecom room layout, terminology, equipment
functions and infrastructure.
• An understanding of Networking fundamentals and associated technologies in the LAN/WAN
environment from the last mile circuit to the desktop.
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment
• Proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems. Must be a resourceful and customer-centric
problem solver
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Handle multiple priorities.
• The ideal candidate must have the following:
• BS or higher OR 8+ years of military service
• 5 years of relevant experience in professional services, sales or customer support operations
• Experience in project coordination with focus on network infrastructure site surveys and network and
infrastructure implementation projects.
• Knowledge of equipment and materials found in telecommunication facilities, such as entrance
facilities, MDF, IDF, Demarc, etc...
• Able to build relationships and inspire teamwork among diverse clients and cross-functional units
• Must be able to execute and deliver within high pressure environments
• Excellent organizational & communication skills and be able to work with a sense of urgency
• The ability to work effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver against critical deadlines
• Does not require direct supervision; able to take high level direction and proactively move a project or
internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance.
• Able to perform a wide variety of organizational tasks and direct the work of others.
• Strong presentation and communication skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication
skills.
