Lead QA Automation and Performance Engineer

What You’ll Do:

As a Lead QA Automation and Performance Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our software products are bug-free, efficient, and high-quality. You will:

  • Lead & Mentor – Provide guidance to onshore/offshore automation engineers, ensuring smooth task execution and progress reporting.
  • Innovate in Automation – Design and develop robust, reusable, and maintainable automated test suites for desktop and online applications, including banking, accounting, and document management systems.
  • Optimize Performance – Work closely with development and IT teams to define application performance expectations and execute comprehensive performance testing.
  • Streamline Testing – Utilize top-tier tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter) to create automated scripts that drive testing efficiency.
  • Ensure Quality at Every Level – Develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and implement continuous improvements to minimize bugs and maximize software reliability.
  • Collaborate in an Agile Environment – Participate in cross-functional team meetings, functional reviews, and technical discussions to align testing strategies with business objectives.
What You Bring:
  • 5-8 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation, and performance testing.
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, Java, or other programming languages for automated test development.
  • Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, cloud environments (AWS), and web-based applications.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to conduct gray-box and white-box testing.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

The annual salary for this role is currently $115,000.00-$120,000.00. The Company’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including job-related skills, relevant education and experience, abilities of the applicant and equity with other team members.  The salary range listed here is subject to change at any time, at the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship.
