Social Media Specialist

This is a remote position.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow our social media platforms
  
• Actively create and develop engaging content ideas to attract a large and relevant audience
  
• Direct and guide the team on content needs to ensure a steady content pipeline
  
• Download raw video files from our server and edit them for social media posting
  
• Utilize video editing and graphic design skills to create high-quality content
  
• Stay updated with social media trends and keep our content relevant
  
• Advise the team on necessary content and strategies to remain trending
  
• Ensure a daily quota of 8 to 15 video posts across all platforms
  
• Create both long-form and short-form content (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels, etc.)
  
• Repurpose older content into fresh, improved versions when new content is unavailable
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proficient in video editing software
  
• Experienced in video editing and graphic design to create original content (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
  
• Knowledgeable in social media platforms and content strategies
  
• Highly aware of social media trends and global happenings
  
• Ability to create relevant and engaging content for our audience and industry
