Responsibility:
The candidate will be responsible for -
Power BI Development & Reporting:
o Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
o Implement best practices for creating scalable and user-friendly dashboards.
o Optimize reports for performance and usability.
Data Integration & ETL:
o Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
o Build and maintain robust data pipelines for reporting solutions.
o Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Database Management:
o Develop and manage relational databases using tools such as MS SQL
Server.
o Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
o Create and maintain data models for reporting.
o Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
Data Analysis & Visualization:
o Conduct detailed data analysis to identify patterns and trends.
o Provide actionable insights for key business functions.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate
them into technical solutions.
Collaboration & Documentation:
o Partner with business and management teams to define and achieve
reporting objectives.
o Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries,
report guidelines, and workflow instructions.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
o Perform rigorous testing to validate the accuracy and reliability of reports.
o Ensure solutions comply with data governance and security standards.
o Troubleshoot and resolve data or reporting issues.
Requirements
Skills Required:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information
Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Work Experience:
o At least 5 years of experience in database management and reporting (power
BI).
o Proven experience in developing and managing enterprise Power BI
solutions.
Professional Certifications (preferred):
o Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer
o Relevant Power BI or Data Analytics Certifications
Technical Expertise:
o Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
o Strong expertise in SQL Server, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
o Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
o Knowledge of data modeling techniques and data visualization best practices.
o Proficiency in integrating Power BI with other tools like Azure Data Services,
Excel, and third-party APIs.
