The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
The UX designer is responsible for creating innovative solutions for a wide variety of product platform design challenges including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments, and person-to-person interactions.
Duties:
- Create satisfying, compelling experiences for users of a product platform; often drawing on results from user research and workflow analysis.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts
- Monitors user experience and ensuring that websites, software programs and product platforms are both appealing and easy for customers to use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs
- Design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
- Familiarity with wireframing software such as Figma, Uizard, Microsoft® Visio, Adobe® InDesign or Axure.
- Experience in a highly Agile/scrum environment working as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
- Familiarity with design programs and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and InVision.
- Experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree; concentration in visual design, communications, computer science or related degree preferred.

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time
In geographic areas with statutory paid sick leave, part-time and temporary employees will receive a paid sick leave benefit that meets the mandated requirements.
Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $81,210.00 - $117,760.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
