About the Role
 

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Lead Data Scientist to join our team in building cutting-edge solutions leveraging AI/ML platform and graph database technology. This role focuses on developing AI-driven systems for entity resolution, contextual search, graph visualizations, and autonomous feedback loops. The ideal candidate will be critical in shaping our 2025 roadmap for delivering scalable and impactful solutions for identity analytics and relationship insights.

Key Responsibilities

Entity Resolution & Trust Scoring:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models for entity resolution and trust scoring.

• Design and implement graph-based methods in AI/ML platform and graph database technology for high-precision identity resolution via AWS cloud platform using Spark or PySpark.
   

Data Pipeline Development:

• Build scalable data pipelines for real-time ingestion, processing, and integration into SageMaker and Neptune.

• Automate data cleaning, preprocessing, and enrichment pipelines for PII datasets.
   

Graph Analytics:

• Design and execute graph queries and algorithms for traversal, clustering, and relationship discovery.

• Apply graph-based community detection and clustering techniques to derive actionable insights.

• Use AI/ML platforms such as SageMaker notebooks and Neptune for data exploration, hypothesis testing, and iterative model improvement.
   

Semantic Search & Contextual AI:

• Train and fine-tune NLP models for contextual search.

• Develop explainable AI tools to provide insights into identity clusters and patterns.
   

Monitoring & Feedback Loops:

• Build monitoring systems to trigger alerts on profile changes or graph anomalies.

• Implement active learning mechanisms to incorporate feedback and improve system accuracy.
   

Visualization & Reporting:

• Design and deliver graph-based visualization dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

• Create interactive tools to explore entity relationships and trends effectively.
   

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, Ph.D. degree preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a data science role, ideally within an AI-focused organization or a big data company specializing in graph-based analytics. Candidates with a Ph.D. may qualify with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Hands-on experience with Spark or Pyspark, and AI/ML platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, and Amazon Neptune.

• Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, DGL, PyTorch-geometric, and Pytorch-frame.

• Proven expertise in graph-based algorithms and scalable frameworks such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, or GraphFrames, with experience handling large-scale data.

• Experience working with PII datasets, entity resolution, and trust scoring methodologies.

• Strong understanding of NLP techniques for contextual search and semantic analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, unstructured data.
   

Salary Disclosure:

Base Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity,  comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
