We have a fantastic opportunity for a Team Manager in Cardiff.

Sedgwick Repair Solutions Managed Contractor Network provides restoration and repair services for the insurance sector and private clients. We have an excellent opportunity for a Team Manager to join our service hub.

As a manager within Sedgwick Repair Solutions, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the two team leaders and the team. This will include being a focal point for team enquiries, identifying and fulfilling training requirements, team morale, absence management, and team performance. You will be able to motivate and supervise staff as well as train, develop, and appraise them.

You will work closely with other departments within Sedgwick, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration. If you're looking for a combined office and remote role where you can balance work and life effectively, this could be perfect for you. This is perfect for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for team development.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Team Management Experience: An experienced team manager with experience in a customer service office environment.

  • Organisational Skills: Organised, diligent, and able to manage your own portfolio of claims to a high standard – previous claims handling experience is desired but not essential.

  • Leadership: A leader who can manage the team and model the behaviours required to deliver excellence.

  • Work Ethic: Conscientious and hardworking to achieve and exceed the required results, as well as flexible and adaptable during times of surge.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Adaptability: Able to cope with a fast-changing working environment.
