About The Opportunity
Netrix Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager for the Professional Services – Delivery Operations department. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the complete life cycle of all assigned projects within the Cloud Security Stack within the Netrix Global Professional Services organization. The Senior Project Managers have 10+ years of experience in highly complex and demanding projects leveraging industry best practices and developing internal best practices utilizing their experience on other enterprise clients to develop the best tools for each client.
The Senior Project Manager will interface directly with Client Resources and Sponsors, Internal Delivery Managers, Engineering Resources, and Account Executives. This role requires an individual that is highly motivated, excellent at communication, and has firsthand industry and technical knowledge. This position reports to the PMO Director and will work closely with various technical Delivery teams located globally.
How You Will Make An Impact
As a member of our growing team, many of the Senior Project Manager duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Core Competencies / Experience in Managing One or More of the Following Pillars:
- Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security
- Modern Workplace (Microsoft, M365, End User Computing)
- Hybrid Datacenter (Azure, Windows, Citrix, VMware, traditional datacenters)
- End User Computing (Intune, MDM, AutoPilot, etc)
- Modern Application/Data Intelligence experience a plus
Project /Practice Management:
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Project Management methodologies and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
- Communicate directly with executive management team to share program/project status, and to escalate risks and issues as needed to endure visibility, ownership, and timely resolution.
- Creates and executes Project Plans, Change Orders, Agendas, and Status Reports and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
- Manages multiple projects at once with one week to one month life-cycles.
- Tracks risks, hardware and personnel.
- Collaborates with engineers to extract technical information.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Communication:
- Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
- Holds regular status meetings with project team.
- Keeps projects team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Functional Skills Required:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Teams
- Typing, grammar, spelling and punctuation
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Salesforce, Kimble, or Experience with a Professional Services Automation tool a plus.
What You Will Bring To The Table
- Minimum 4 years’ experience managing projects with PMP or 10 years without certification (PMP certification is a big plus)
- Must understand both Waterfall and Agile Project Methodologies
- Must be able to work across multiple project workstreams, resource scheduling, and status reporting.
- Working with Project Service Automation (PSA) tools like Kimble/Kantata a big plus
Project Management Skills:
- Qualification in project management or equivalent
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
