The Role

Lovevery is looking for a thoughtful and motivated junior PR associate with solid writing and communication skills to amplify their in-house media relations and PR strategy. In this role, you will have hands-on experience contributing to the execution of global PR strategies.

You have a solid grounding in public relations and are motivated to hone your skills in tactical media relations activities from press outreach and industry research, to coverage reporting.

As an in-house role, you will develop a deep understanding of the Lovevery brand, culture, and cross-functional teams, allowing for focused execution of strategies that deliver meaningful results.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, Global Public Relations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Senior PR Manager on global strategies that garner earned media coverage and generate widespread consumer awareness with a primary focus on the North American region.
  • Support communication initiatives including ongoing focus of the company’s award-winning Play Kits program, new product launches, brand campaigns, and Cofounder thought leadership opportunities.
  • Elevate the Lovevery brand position and recognition through contributions to award submissions.
  • Execute media relations activities including, but not limited to:
    • Update media lists to support always-on engagement
    • Press inbox management: address inbound media inquiries, determine priorities, and share images and messaging as needed
    • Seeding & Product Sends: engage media with thoughtful gifting and identify new parents as media targets
  • Assist in reporting and tracking initiatives by:
    • Monitoring press coverage, leveraging media monitoring services
    • Tracking and reporting on KPIs weekly
    • Contributing to quarterly press recaps

    About You

    • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field is preferred
    • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in PR-related role
    • Must be a solid written and verbal communicator
    • Passion for a career in public relations with strong interest in media, storytelling, and research
    • Proficiency with basic computer and PR tech applications including MuckRack, Meltwater, Cision, and Slack
    • Detail-oriented with ability to manage deadlines, think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects from start to finish, while also being an excellent collaborator

      Salary Range Information

      Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
