Overview:
As a Solution Consulting Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process by driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of skilled solution consultants and engineers, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility is to translate complex technical solutions into compelling business value propositions, enabling our sales team to close deals and exceed revenue targets.
The Solution Consulting Leader understands the science of enterprise software demonstrations in the sales process and manages a team of enterprise SaaS pre-sales colleagues who are engaged in assisting in sales through the demonstration and evaluation process. You will lead the pre-sales demo team, the demo environment solution engineering team and assess the creation of a business consulting team.
Starting base pay for this role is between $157,500 and $197,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of pre-sales consultants.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, empowering them to excel.
- Set clear expectations, performance metrics, and career development plans.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and individual performance.
- Analyze sales pipeline data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimizeresource allocation.
- Implement effective sales enablement strategies to enhance the team's productivity.
Solution Expertise:
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team addressing complex customer inquiries.
- Lead solution design workshops and product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solutions.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify customer pain points and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Develop compelling value propositions and business cases to justify investments.
- Collaborate with professional services and customer success teams to ensure a seamless transition and ongoing customer satisfaction.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to align on strategic goals.
- Drives the strategy and execution of the solutions consulting function to support sales goals and revenue targets.
- Provides strategic input on product development and enhancements based on market feedback and customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient communication.
- Identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Business-related field.
- 7+ Years of Pre-sales or Technical Sales Management Experience.
- 7+ Years of Pre-sales Experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with P&C Insurance, competitors, use cases and buyer needs.
- Strong technical aptitude related to configuration and demonstration of enterprise software solutions.
- Up to 25% travel required.
