The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and driven person to join our People team in Cyprus as the Office and People Specialist. You can expect to work on a lot of different projects to really make your impact and help continue to make Plum a great place to work. This role is truly varied with no two days the same. We are a fast growing company and are looking for someone who is passionate about helping people and ready to jump right in and get started.

What you will be doing

  • Be responsible for the day to day running of the Cyprus office liaising with the building management, internal IT department, suppliers, equipment and stock control.  We are also in the process of looking for a new office space as we have nearly outgrown our current space, so you can expect to help manage this process.
  • Be part of the broader People Team and contribute with fresh ideas, as well as help with employee records in our HRIS, local compensation and benefits, local labour laws, general happiness in the office, etc.
  • Work with the People Ops team to organise company events including team bonding activities in Cyprus and our annual company trip.
  • Be the face of Plum, welcoming guests to our office, ensuring a positive experience, and supporting the rest of the team with onboarding, events, and projects as needed.

Who you are

  • A People Generalist, with 1+ years of experience in a similar role (experience in a startup environment is a plus)
  • You have solid knowledge of local labour law and regulations
  • You are familiar with HR Systems (experience with HiBob is a plus)
  • Approachable, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive, energetic attitude
  • Someone with good initiative who enjoys communicating with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth office operation
  • An organised individual who can work proactively to identify and solve problems
  • You have strong critical thinking skills, particularly when handling and managing confidential matters.
  • You are available to work from the office 4 days per week
