We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer. You will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Azure technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with IT members to define cloud architecture requirements and ensure efficient and reliable system performance.
• Implement and optimize Azure services such as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, load balancers, app services, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Monitor and fix system issues, proactively identifying potential bottlenecks and suggesting improvements.
• Implement security measures to safeguard data and systems in the Azure environment, ensuring consistency to industry standards and recommended approaches.
• Perform routine performance analysis and planning to maintain scalability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployment and management tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting languages.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure cloud technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
• Provide mentorship and technical expertise to team members and partners regarding Azure cloud solutions.
Qualifications:
• Validated experience as a Cloud Engineer, specifically in designing, deploying, and running Azure-based solutions.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and architecture, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, app services, Microsoft Entra ID, and security features. • Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Demonstrated knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and security standard methodologies in a cloud environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, log analytics, and application performance management solutions for Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address sophisticated system issues.
• Excellent communication and partnership, work efficiently in a multi-functional team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
