We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and ambitious Sales Manager/Business Development professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • To grow sales across the USA and Canadian markets, ensuring growth and profitability. You will manage and work closely with our West Coast Sales Manager and various other agents to cover the multiple routes to market.
  • Ensure that territory sales and margin targets are achieved and time and expenditure are organised and planned effectively. 
  • Develop sales strategies for the North American markets. You will provide compelling presentations that increase our client's capabilities to resell or specify our products.
  • To identify and visit architects and designers operating within the hospitality and cruise sector. Obtain project specifications and monitor them throughout the purchase process. 
  • Identify and visit furniture dealers, furniture manufacturers, and end users to promote Panaz fabrics. 
  • Use your analytical skills and market research to assess competition, drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities. Track this using CRM technology.
  • Maintain Panaz's reputation as a high-quality and uniquely beautiful brand by representing the company at trade shows and other networking events.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports and forecasts to the Board. 
  • Collaborate with the Design Director and Head of Marketing to align sales strategies with promotional activities and new product development. 
  • Assist your team with account management activities such as query resolution and obtaining payment as escalated. 
  • Support Panaz's operational capabilities and means to exceed customer expectations and continue as the industry's pioneer brand. 
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be based in the East Coast USA region and travel extensively across the US.  
  • Proven track record in a management position within a specification/project-based sales environment. Candidates from textiles or related industries - either a high-end B2B resale product or well-connected within furniture, interiors, or architecture are to be considered.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven. 
  • Role model/ coaching sales teams to succeed. 
  • High proficiency in understanding a large product portfolio mix and leveraging USP to meet customer needs. 
  • Expertise in relationship building, networking, sales and closure techniques. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics and anticipate market needs.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and various online software technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • The base salary range for this position is $ annually. However, it may vary within and outside of the range depending on several factors, including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

  • There are 10 days of vacation, 8 public holidays, and 3 floating days. Offices are closed from Christmas through New Year's Day.
